Why send messages to Vinted likes and favorites

A favorite (like) on Vinted is not a purchase. It is a bookmark: the buyer may come back, wait for a discount, or forget the item. Messages to likes and messages to favorites are the same job — a short, timely note to someone who already showed interest.

Doing that from notifications, one chat at a time, does not scale. A closet panel can send a template, an offer, or both.

Why messages to favorites can help

The buyer just interacted with your listing. A short thank-you, with an optional price, is easier to answer than a cold message. It still has to sound like you. Identical spam across fifty chats is how accounts get reported.

VintAssist will not claim this “converts more sales” as a guarantee. It only makes the outreach you would already do, faster, with skip rules.

How to send messages to likes

1. In Settings, create a template such as: Hi {username}! Thanks for favoriting {item}. I can offer it for {offerPrice} if you are interested.
2. Open your closet → teal VA button at the bottom right → Messages.
3. Select listings and press Send messages, or Message and offer.

{offerPrice} uses the Messages tab discounts. Autopilot and Offers each have their own. If that price is not sendable (below minimum earning, no matching smart bracket, or an invalid discount), VintAssist does not send the message or the offer, and {offerPrice} is not left blank in a sent chat.

Automatic messages to likes (Autopilot)

Open the Autopilot tab if you want this to repeat. Pick a saved template or write a custom Autopilot-only message (deleting the selected template does not silently switch to another). It scans like notifications about every five minutes while a Vinted tab stays open. It will not message if:

• an offer is already on the thread
• a message is already on the thread
• you already messaged that person this session
• either of you blocked the other
• there is no sendable Autopilot price (below minimum earning, no matching smart bracket, or an invalid discount)

What Autopilot does not do

It does not follow up days later with a second script. It does not answer buyer questions with AI. It does not run if you close every Vinted tab.

FAQ

Should I message every liker?

Not always. If someone already wrote, or you already offered, Autopilot stays quiet. Use a one-off Messages job when you want to follow up yourself.

Is a like the same as a favorite?

On Vinted, sellers use both words for the heart. VintAssist reads like notifications for the items on your closet.
