A seller offer is a private price in one conversation. A price drop changes the listing for everyone. Vinted can notify people who already favourited an item when the public price falls — confirm the behaviour in your app and help. We do not invent a notification percentage.

How to choose offer vs price drop
- One warm liker, price is otherwise fine — send a seller offer. The shop price stays up for the next person.
- Many likes, no sales — the public number may still be high. Drop the listing price (or bulk edit a percent across a batch).
- No likes and no views — neither lever is the first fix. See Why are my Vinted listings getting no views?.
- You would take the lower price from anyone — markdown. Do not maintain a fake high price only to offer 40% to every heart.
- You are mid-chat on a number — do not relist or slash the public price under them without saying so.

Does a price drop notify favorites?
Often yes, on Vinted’s own product. Treat that as a platform feature, not something VintAssist sends.
Can Autopilot drop public prices when someone likes?
No. Autopilot sends a private offer and/or a message. Public markdown is Edit, on listings you select.
Which sells faster?
Whichever matches the problem. Private offers help people who already cared. Public drops help everyone else see a new number. Neither replaces photos and comps.
