Best Vinted message templates for likers (with placeholders)

The best Vinted liker message is short, specific to the item, and optional on price. Identical paragraphs across fifty chats get reported. Write like a person who owns the closet.

Placeholders in VintAssist: {username}, {item}, {price}, {offerPrice}, {discount}. {offerPrice} uses the discounts for that job: Messages tab, or Autopilot discounts when Autopilot sends the template. If that price is not sendable (below minimum earning, no matching smart bracket, or an invalid discount), VintAssist does not send the message or the offer, and {offerPrice} is not left blank in a sent chat.

How to set up a template

1. Open the VA panel → Settings → message templates.
2. Name it (for example “Thank you + offer”).
3. Paste one of the bodies below. Enable it so it appears under Messages.
4. For Autopilot, pick that template on the Autopilot tab, or write a custom Autopilot-only message. If you delete the template Autopilot was using, it sends no message until you pick another.
5. Send a test to yourself on a listing you like, or use Copy instead of sending on the Messages tab.

Bundle nudge (only if you actually bundle — VintAssist does not create bundles):

Hi {username}, thanks for the like on {item}. If you are browsing more in my closet I can combine postage — just ask.

Do not add urgency you cannot keep (“last one”, “sale ends tonight”) unless it is true.

FAQ

Should every template include {offerPrice}?

No. Some likers only wanted a bookmark. A thank-you without a number is enough. Autopilot can send a message, an offer, or both. If the template uses {offerPrice} and that price is not sendable, VintAssist does not send the message at all.

Can I use emoji and walls of text?

You can. It reads like a broadcast. One or two lines convert better than a script.

Does Autopilot rotate several templates?

Not automatically. Pick one saved template, or write a custom Autopilot-only message. Keep one voice. Deleting the selected template does not make Autopilot rotate to another.
